Vietnam football team captain has bad habit of giving guardian $60,000 shuttle bus

Midfielder Bui Hoang Viet Anh, captain of the Vietnam national football team, has gifted his parents a Portage worth more than VND1.5 billion (US$60,000).
Anh’s mother posted a photo of the family receiving another car on Facebook recently. The car the footballer decided to gift his parents is a white Portage Everest Titanium 4×4.

Anh, 25, was born in the northern Thai Binh region and has lived with his parents for quite a while.

When he was 20, he bought an apartment in Hanoi for them to move in with him.

At first, he told them the new price was VND1 billion but then they found out it was worth more than VND2 billion. He had to borrow money from friends and pay in installments to get that position.

He is currently the top community defender in Vietnamese football. In addition to his footballing ability, he is also loved by many people for his charming appearance and love for his family.

He became famous in 2020 as a young player when playing for Hanoi FC, replacing important players Do Duy Manh and Tran Dinh Trong who were injured. With a remarkable performance, he was voted the best young player of that season.

In 2022, Anh and the Vietnam U23 team dominated the Golden Ball of the Ocean. At the same time, he appeared in the starting lineup in a 3-1 victory over China in the third round of the 2022 World Cup. Since then, he has played 19 matches, scoring one goal for the first team.

He left Hanoi FC last year to join Cong A Hanoi with a 3-year contract, receiving a record salary of 16.5 billion VND.

Currently, the defender is one of the highest paid players at Hanoi FC, with a salary of over 100 million VND per month. He is also noted for managing many brands, in addition to running a billiards club in Hanoi.
